  1. What is the PG&E Customer Panel?

    The PG&E Customer Panel is a research panel designed to collect your feedback regarding the PG&E Web site and online services. This panel is intended to help us better understand the online needs of customers. Your feedback will be an important part of helping us make current and future decisions about our Web site.

  2. Why did PG&E start this panel?

    The primary purpose of this panel is to provide customer feedback to PG&E for the purpose of making decisions and developing service solutions that meet your needs.

  3. How do I join the PG&E Customer Panel?

    The panel is currently on hiatus, and so we are not recruiting new members at this time.

  4. Will my personal information and responses to survey questions be kept confidential?

    PG&E, in conjunction with MarketTools Inc., takes privacy seriously. The information you provide as part of this panel is kept confidential and is only used for PG&E's planning decisions. This panel is not for marketing and sales solicitation. You can find more information regarding our policies at http://www.pgecustomerpanel.com/privacy.html.   5. How is my personal information used, and what happens to my responses after I submit them?

    Your personal information is used to create a respondent profile and to track how many surveys are being sent to you. Your respondent profile is used to determine which research studies are best for you. Whenever a research study is completed, each respondent's information is compiled into a research report which is used to make product and services decisions. No customer specific information is included in the research report.

    Please note: this is not a marketing program; no marketing material will be sent to you as a result of joining this panel.

  6. How often will you contact me to participate in a PG&E research study?

    This panel is currently on hiatus, and we do not know when future studies will be sent.

  8. Are there special rewards/incentives for participating in the panel?

    Yes, at our discretion we will offer rewards for respondents who participate in some of these research studies. You will be provided information regarding any special rewards or incentives prior to participating in a research study.

  9. How do I unsubscribe from the panel?

    To be removed from this panel send e-mail with the word "Remove" in the subject line to: optout@pgecustomerpanel.com. We will promptly update your preferences; however, you may receive previously initiated invitations during that period.

    Please note, this only removes you from the PG&E Customer Panel and does not remove you from any other mailings you may have signed up for previously with PG&E.

  10. When does the survey close?

    When we have received enough responses from panelists, we close the survey so that we may evaluate your feedback. We are often unable to give a close date in the invitation because it is difficult to predict exactly when we will have enough responses to close the survey.

  11. I recently completed the first survey to join the panel, but I have not yet received a confirmation email. What should I do?

    After completing the initial survey, it can take up to 15 business days to upload the information and receive your confirmation email. If you do not receive your confirmation email within 15 business days, please contact us at support@pgecustomerpanel.com.
